Short-term internship
Africa Health Research Institute’s short-term internship programme runs from June to August each year.
Outstanding undergraduate, graduate as well as medical students with an interest in an academic scientific career are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to join AHRI’s vibrant research community. The eight to 12-week research experience involves interns working on a research project under the mentorship of AHRI faculty
How to apply
To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter with a 200-word motivation on why you should be selected for the programme, and which group you are interested in working with, to education@ahri.org. Please note that you will need to identify your own funding as we do not offer financial support to cover relocation costs or a daily stipend. Please only apply if financial support has been obtained.
*Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our short-term internship is currently on hold. AHRI plans to reinstate these internships in 2023.
