Research assessing awareness and use of the Good Clinical Trials Collaborative (GCTC) guidance in South Africa has highlighted several areas where clinical trial practice can be strengthened. Drawing on input from investigators, regulators, funders and community stakeholders, AHRI and partners have developed a set of recommendations to support the wider adoption of good clinical trial practices across the country. These findings are published in a new report that outlines priority actions for improving the quality and coordination of clinical trials in South Africa.
